Harold L. Corbin, Sr., 61, of Bridgeton died on Friday, June 5, 2015 at his home under the care of Hospice. Born in Bridgeton to the late Jessie James Corbin and Bertha Jamison Corbin, he was the life-long companion of Deborah Smith, of Bridgeton. Harold had been a resident of Bridgeton for the past 34 years and prior to that he had lived in Port Norris. He had been employed as a chef at various area restaurants and also at Addison’s Bakery in Atlantic City. In his free time, Harold enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and shooting pool. He is survived by four children, Denise Thomas of Millville, Crystal Smith of Vineland; Harold L. Corbin, Jr. of Millville and Jatiya Corbin of Bridgeton; two sisters, Patricia Corbin of MD and Edna Kent of Millville; seven brothers, Robert Corbin of Commercial Twp., Leonard Corbin of Millville, James Corbin of Bridgeton, Dennis Corbin of Vineland, Donnie Corbin of Millville, Keith Corbin of Whitesboro and John Corbin of NC and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church, 2411 Memorial Ave., Port Norris on Friday, June 12th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Haleyville Methodist Cemetery in Commercial Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
