Obituary of Margaret J. Carll

Margaret J. Carll, 93, of Marmora and formerly of Bridgeton died Friday, June 5, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. The daughter of the late Charles and Sadie Waddington Carll, she was born in Bridgeton and was the wife of the late Howard S. Carll. She had been a resident of Marmora for the past 20 years and had lived in Hopewell Township and Bridgeton prior to that. For many years, Margaret had assisted her late husband Howard with the day to day operation of the former Carll Funeral Home in Bridgeton and later the Carll-Padgett Funeral Home in Bridgeton and Cedarville. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Kirchoff of Marmora, her son, Kenneth B. Carll of Bridgeton, 5 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Private graveside funeral services were held at Fernwood Memorial Park with the Rev. Michael Schulke, pastor of the Fairfield Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment followed the services in the Carll Family Lot. Arrangements were under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
