Obituary of Mattie Lee Green

Mattie Lee Green, 86, of Bridgeton died on Friday, June 19, 2015 a Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Kershaw, SC to the late William Thomas and Alberta Murphy Thomas, she was the wife of the late Paul Green. Mattie had lived in Bridgeton for the past 50 years and prior to that she was a resident of South Carolina. Before her retirement, she had worked at Progresso Food Co. in Vineland and Hunts Food Corp. and P.J. Ritter Co. in Bridgeton. She was a member of Faith Tabernacle in Bridgeton. Mattie is survived by five brothers, James Thomas of Franklinville; Jake Thomas of Elizabeth City, DeRoger Thomas of NC, Robert Thomas of Bridgeton and David Thomas of Millville. Besides her husband, Paul, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dan Murphy and Edgar Thomas and a sister, Essie Robinson. Funeral services will be held at Faith Tabernacle, 67 Grove Street, Bridgeton on Friday, June 26th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
