Obituary of Carl N. Burns

Carl “Corky” Burns, 71, of Bridgeton died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at his home. Corky was born in Bridgeton to the late George Burns, Sr. and Grace Loper Burns and had been a lifetime resident of Bridgeton. Prior to his retirement, Corky had been employed by the City of Bridgeton Department of Streets and Roads for many years. He is survived by his brother, John H. Burns of Bridgeton. Corky was preceded in death by a brother, George Burns, Jr. and a sister, Eunice M. Smith. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, July 6th at 10 AM. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 to 10 AM prior to the services.
