Obituary of Patsy Jean Wilson

Patsy Jean Wilson, 78, of Bridgeton died on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at her home under the care of Hospice. Patsy was born in Harvey, WV to the late Marvin W. Wilson and Helen Criss Wilson. She moved to Bridgeton in 1956 where she resided for the rest of her life. Prior to her retirement, Patsy had worked as a sorter at the United States Postal Service Regional Office in Bellmawr for 14 years. She had previously been employed at the Owens Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton for 29 years until the factory closed in 1985. In her free time, Patsy loved to work outdoors, doing puzzles and watching the Phillies and Eagles. She was also an avid bowler at the former Pike Lanes and other local bowling alleys. She is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Hamrick and her husband Allen of West Virginia; a son, Michael Wilson and his wife Cristina of Long Island, NY; a brother, Dwayne Wilson and his wife Edith of NC; her best friend, Miriam Pierce of Bridgeton; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death y; a brother, Ronnie Wilson and a sister Carol Anne “Dolly” Watson. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Tuesday, July 21st at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services.
