Obituary of Cindy Moore

Cindy L. Mitchell Moore, 58, of Bridgeton died unexpectedly while enjoying the Salem County Fair on Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Born in Ravenna, Ohio to the late Arnit L. Mitchell and Anna Jean Mitchell, she was the wife of the late Terry D. Moore, Sr. Cindy had been a Bridgeton area resident all of her life. Prior to her retirement, she had worked for the Bridgeton Public School system as a custodian for over 18 years. She had also worked at the former Sharp’s Wallpaper in Fairfield Twp. and at the former Chicken Coop in Deerfield Twp. with her mother. In her free time, she loved to write songs as a guitar player and vocalist. For the past two years she had also helped care for her companion, George’s mother who is suffering with Alzheimer’s. Cindy is survived by her children, Lisa D. Moore of St. Petersburg, FL, Terry D. Moore, Jr. and his companion, Dawn Ward of Nokomis, FL and Crystal Berrio and her husband, John of Winter Gardens, FL; her companion, George Simpson of Alloway Twp; her siblings, Linda J. Vest and her husband, James, Sr. of Lower Alloways Creek, Rev. Wayne Mitchell and his wife Cheryl of Greentown, PA, Fred L. Campbell, Jr. of PA, Thomas S. Campbell of Bridgeton and Robert A. Campbell and his wife Tina of Maine; six grandchildren, Naomi, Candice, Hailee, Cody, Brittnee and Chris and several aunts, uncles and other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry D. Moore, Sr. Memorial services will be held at Tri-County Lighthouse Baptist Church, 149 Deerfield Dr., Upper Deerfield Twp. on Tuesday evening August 11th at 6 PM. Friends will be received at the church from 5 PM to 6 PM prior to the services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
