Obituary of Juleen Marie Bourgeois

Juleen M. Bourgeois, 58, of Cedarville died unexpectedly on Friday, January 15, 2016. Born in Freehold, NJ to the late Joe Navickas and Celia Brys Navickas, she was the wife of Marcel Bourgeois. Juleen was raised in Englishtown and graduated from Manalapan High School. She moved to Cedarville with her husband in 1989 and had lived in Dayton for nine years before that. Juleen was a graduate of Cook College at Rutgers University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Plant Science and met her husband, Marcel. As a farmer, she and her husband owned and operated Bourgeois Farm’s in Cedarville for many years. In her younger years, she had worked at Lee and Walt’s at the Englishtown Auction. Juleen loved to spend time outdoors, gardening and was known for her beautiful Daffodils. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing and crabbing and taking walks down to the marsh. She was a great cook and loved to make homemade jams and jellies. She was a member of the Parish of the Holy Cross-St. Michaels Parish in Cedarville. Juleen is survived by; her husband, Marcel Bourgeois of Cedarville; two sons, Timothy Bourgeois of Chatsworth and James Bourgeois and his wife Jessica of Chester; twin sisters, Janette Dehner of Tom’s River and Jeanette Watkins of Michigan; her sister, Joette Cronin of Parlin; two granddaughters and her father-in-law, Andre Bourgeois of Salem. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at The Parish of the Holy Cross-St. Michael’s Church, 367 Main Street, Cedarville, NJ 08311 on Friday, January 22nd at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street, Cedarville on Friday, January 22nd from 9 AM to 10:30 AM prior to the funeral mass.
