My prayers go out to the entire King family. Mr. King was a great man, someone I will always be grateful to have known. He and Ms. Geraldine welcomed me into their home on a regular basis when I was a kid. They always treated me like I was part of family. That is something I will never forget!! I hope you all find some comfort in knowing you were blessed to have had him in your life for 73 years.

To Gerald, Heather King and Family,
May God be with you in this time of sorrow. Know that he suffers no more and is in a better place. Heaven is our goal for a lifetime and he made it on in. Though we miss them in the flesh his spirit will always be with you.
Stand strong because you know God has taken him into his kingdom where there is no pain, hurt sorrow or tears. You will see him again and it will be a glorious day in Heaven. Until then holdfast to the memories and pray to God everyday for strength to make it through.

Patty Carrington and family,
I was saddened to hear of the death of Brother King today.
I am sure that you all shared a deep family bond, and it is the kind of bond that will not be forgotten in the days and weeks ahead.
I want to assure you that you will be in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time, and I know the same God who has helped you with past trials, will be ever present during this one as well.
Death seems so "final", however, it is important to remember that the Bible makes it clear for those who love the Lord, and have trusted Him as Savior, that it is actually only the beginning of an eternity in Heaven with those who have gone on before. Most importantly, we will one day see Jesus who made this all possible!
I want to encourage you to keep your faith and trust in God during this time, even when you do not understand His ways.
May God continue to give you his peace at this time of grief and sadness.

Sympathy and condolences to my dear uncle's wife and children. He will truly be missed. He was always such a caring uncle who wanted to know "that I was okay". Now my dear uncle who I loved so very much, you are okay and will have no more pain. You have been met by mom, dad , sisters and brothers who left before you. May you all rest in peace.

My prayers and condolences to the King family. Mr. King was a really kind man who had a smile that could light up a room. He was a close friend of my Grandfather's and his children grew up with my cousin and I. Their family has always been an extension of our family so my heart goes out to them in their time of grief.
God Bless,
Bill Shorter & Family

Prayerful that you and the family find comfort in knowing that your friends/family in D.C. care. Eventhough his physical life here on earth is no more, Crab has transitioned and is now celebrating with his father in his heavenly home. Please don't think of his transition as a loss, because anyone that is loved as much as he is, can never be loss. His spirit will always be a part of your lives and his memories will help to sustain you through this difficult time. Luv Ya Big Lolita.

To our beloved Sis. Geraldine King and family, Our hearts are saddened by the passing of such a great man. Deacon King was truly a wonderful man and loved and respected by us all. Even through his illness and sufferings he was concerned for us, often asking how we were and offering to do whatever he could for us. We know you hold so many precious memories of him. We pray that those memories, with the aid of the Holy Spirit, will comfort you and strengthen you in the days ahead. We love you all.

To my loving family. Uncle will be truly missed. I'm so sorry for the lost of a great man from our family, however, a great man has taught two men to be also great, Robert (Bobby) Jr. and Gerald (Man). He did leave a legacy behind. He's left us behind so many great memories.
What I learned from Uncle was how a man is supposed to treat and love a woman. His love for my favorite auntie, (aunt Jerry), was unconditional and true. They were the example of a couple truly in love from day one until the end.
I'm going to miss my Uncle Crab. A great OG!!
PS: I'm going to need that comical video uncle crab took of me 45 years ago when I was 5. Aunt Jerry knows what I'm talking about. Lol!!!
I love you all!

Dear Sis. King:
I pray these few words will comfort you and your family. Michael and I were sad to hear that our Deacon King passed away. The peace comes in knowing that he has went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We can't say that we know how you feel. What we can say is we know you are a strong woman of God and because of your close relationship with our Heavenly Father we know that He is with you seeing you through this difficult time. We will cherish our memories of Deacon King and please know we love you. We, along with the St. John Pentecostal Church family, are keeping you in prayer. God bless you all.
