Miss Ruth was like a grandmom to my sister and me. While in college, she would always send us letters filled with encouragement and some spending money. Ruth's letters were always filled with a loving message to remind us to make sure to follow Jesus and keep our eyes on Him. She never forgot about my sister and me, no matter how far away we went to college. She was so supportive. We loved writing her cards back, thanking her for her love. We were almost like penpals. Our family loved Ruth deeply and we will miss her greatly.
