For My Dear Friend Virginia,
We shared a very close friendship that was always there even though we couldn't visit very much during the last few years. She always understood me, even when she couldn't hear all the spoken words. She had an innate sensibility that went beyond words, and we laughed and cried together over the years, as true friends do.
I know where she is now, because I believe there is a special place for people who loved as she did. I can't truly express what it means to lose my friend, but, I believe she knows and is smiling down at us right now. I'm looking forward to seeing her again as she greets me with a smile as big as her heart.
