This man was my friend all of my life we attended kindergarten at Myron l Powell we graduated together we went to different high schools but on the weekends we were sure to be together fishing hunting or just cooking on a Sunday afternoon Floyd was an honest loyal family man who never had a bad word to say about anyone this being part of the great job his parents did raising him from his father and mother being our cub scout leaders to always being a constant in his life Floyd was loved and cherished by many friends he was the apple of his grandmother Davis eye I will always remember the 50 plus years of friendship with Floyd he was more like a brother to me and I was blessed to have him as my friend I love you my brother and I'm glad I had gotten to tell you that just a week before you passed
