Here it is the year 2023 and I'm going thru the internet, and I see Dave, My friend as kids in school, growing up out in Greenwich and has left us in a mortal sense.
I've school in this profession , and none the less I will feel the loss , but I will leave you with this, for in my walk with Dave there was always a happy, good friend, a man with spirit and endurance, and dignified.
He had respect for people, and nature and a damn good man on the line in football.
Here's my gift to you Dave and all who knew and loved you as Family and Friend.
I Am the life and the light and the way. The earth is my garden each of the souls i plant as seeds germinates and flowers in its season and in each i am fullfilled. Their is no cause for grief When a blossom fades but only rejoicing for the beauty it held and praise that my will is done and my plan served. I Am one with all creatures and none is ever lost but only restored to me, having never left me at all. For what is eternal cannot be separated from its source. I Am with you all, and each of you is a channel for my light. Feel my love enfold you now and evermore.

I have never taken the time to do something like this, but in this instance I fell the need. I had met Dave one night while working at the Finishline Pub at the Race track in Millville. He had come out to support his friend Peggy who was one of my bartenders. I took an instant liking to Dave, something I'm sure a lot of people can say. It says something about a person when you speak of them and all you can remember is that he always had a smile and was fiercely loyal to those he called friend. My only regret is that I didn't get to know him better. My condolences to his friends and family.

I've been trying to find adequate words to describe my Uncle Dave and what he means to me, to describe the joy and orneriness he exuded, how big his heart was for everyone, how infectious his smile and laughter was...but I can't. If you knew him, you knew that.
I've spent the last week remembering his life and seeing how much love people have for him, and it confirmed what I knew when he was alive. He was a special, wonderful man, and our family was fortunate to have him in it. I loved him and he knew that, and I am grateful for that. He will be deeply missed by us all.

It is hard to believe such a bright light is gone. Dave had a way of bringing joy, love and laughter to all he meet and his gregarious and charming personality made everyone feel welcomed and accepted. Dave’s larger than life personality leaves such a large wake of sadness for so many because he shared his life with everyone he met. I had the privilege of know him and sharing with him many long talks on family, friends, love, life, our love of animals and our spiritual beliefs. These days it is rare to find someone like Dave in whom you could find no duplicity, with Dave, what you saw is what you got, he was straightforward, honest, protective and loyal to his closest, dearest family and friends. My deepest prayers and condolences go out to his family and friends. I will miss you my dear friend. May the peace of God be with you and may you rest in peace, until we meet again.

David was a wonder person who had a good heart and was so kind to me and made me feel like I was part of family when I had no family around me, all of you did. I am so sorry I couldn't make it there to show my respect, but do to things out of my control I am not able to be there. But I just wanted all of you to know that I am thinking of you and I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

My heart aches thinking of the void Dave has left behind but can feel the glory being welcomed by God, family, and friends. I've known him for many, many years because his sister Bobbi was a great friend of mine and I was there a lot...he was definitely as ornery then as he was now! Blessings for the Lord's comfort in your lives.
